The photographer and designer José Javier Serrano, born in Donostia, San Sebastian in 1981 better known artistically as Yosigo, achieved a new way of looking at landscapes and places normally inhabited everyday, whose aesthetic strength isn’t valued.
Yosigo aim through his photographs it’s to change the perceptions of what we normally see.

The aesthetic style of Yosigo, defined through composition, chromatism and choice of elements, defines his own visual language, strongly influenced by his passion for graphic design. Straight lines and symmetry are part of his photographic personality that directly influenced him during the composition stage as well as during the design of his exhibitions and publications.
The design decision, this case, it’s the use of a bright yellow cover, reminding the best kind of postcard usually found on holiday.

About ‘Greetings from’– words by José Javier Serrano:

During August 2016, Yosigo spent two weeks alone in Benidorm, one of the lowest-cost destinations in Spain, fascinated by the sun, the sea, the waterparks bums and bars. The result of these weeks is Greetings From, a book that makes you think about the absurd beauty of vacations while reflecting on Spanish culture.
