When I Was Green in Judgement is a short film that explores the emotional turmoil of leaving love behind in pursuit of an enchanting yet imprisoning dream far from home. The film is a product of the collaboration between Director João Carmo and Cinematographer Pablo Garrido Carreras. Shot it in two days last winter in London, with 16mm film, a Bolex, and some good friends. The idea came from a shared experience of living in London, a place where solitude meets hope and broken dreams; in a beautiful combination of portraits, documentary images, music, and a pre-recorded poem.
