This project explores identity as an unstable and continuously evolving condition, where the body is understood not as a fixed form but as a space of transition. Through processes of dissolution, it investigates the moment in which control begins to fracture, opening the possibility for transformation. Rather than collapse, this state becomes generative, a threshold where new forms can emerge.

The void plays a central role within this framework. It is not conceived as absence, but as a suspended, fertile space in which matter has not yet taken shape. Within this indeterminacy, identity is no longer something defined, but something in constant negotiation. The body, positioned within this tension between presence and disintegration, reveals itself as an open field where loss and change become necessary conditions of becoming.

Accompanying the images, the written text functions as an extension of the visual language. Fragmented and fluid, it mirrors the instability at the core of the project, moving between organic and mechanical registers. References to error, memory, and malfunction suggest a body that is both material and system-based, caught between flesh and abstraction.

Control, fear, and rebellion are not treated as opposing forces, but as elements coexisting within the same silent structure. In this context, revolt is redefined as a process of dismantling rather than destruction, a slow disassembly of form that allows meaning to shift and reconfigure.

Developed in collaboration with photographer Federico Gherardi, the project translates its conceptual concerns into a visual language through art direction and styling. Garments from emerging brands such as Pecora Nera and Etere contribute to this exploration, reinforcing the relationship between body, material, and transformation.
