“Since I came to a ‘mature’ age, I’ve kept on moving to different cities to study, maybe that is why I have no sense of belonging. I am just like a bystander and a memory recorder. I endeavour to show my personal perception of alienation and loneliness within my work.
I have been in the capacity of a traveller who instinctively wants to feel and express, but I prefer to feel more than express. That is why I choose to utilisee camera as a tool to convey my photographic language. Life is a trip for illusory. After we left our parents, we are all wandering travelers who are waiting for the lost time. I am still a free loner.”
About ‘Hollow’:
My work is based on my memory and situation. I keep on wandering around with the aspiration of aimless experience and self-atonement. Photos, just like lonely fragments, are to prove that everything has been lost. The images in photos are lifeless, but people’s intention and memory make these images remain alive.
Sometimes, we use our own imagination to get some image for the reason they are much clearer than what we see in the real world to some extent. We assume that we use our eyes to watch, but in fact, we use our experience and imagination to watch. Foundation determines the situation. Maybe we have a standard way to talk about photography and art, but we don’t have a standard way to talk about emotions and feelings.
These images are indeed capable of ex pressing reality, but they surpass reality in some ways. For the reason that a picture is not just an original image, it is not only an interpretation of reality, but also a trace of a realistic subject like footprints or templates death. Even if a painting is in line with personal fantasy paintings but also a confession explanation. In addition, a picture is tantamount to a record of emotion once explained.
We also search for the creation of an illusion in order to be more close to the perception and intention of human nature. Moreover, we even tend to entertain individuals, which gets access to people’s personal needs and preferences. From my perspective, images can express not only artists’ personal feelings and thoughts, even an sublime emoziona expression can be wisely delivered.
At least, we can still find some of their own things which also witness the illusion from the side image in people’s daily lives. It plays an important role.
