Born in 1980 in a small town in central France, Sebastien Tixier now lives and works in Paris.
He became a self-taught independent photographer in 2007. His work ranges from staged studio photographs to landscapes and documentaries on globalization and its impacts – culture, environment. His photographs have been awarded numerous local and international prizes.

About ‘Instant of Latency’:
‘Instant of Latency’ regroups photographs taken over the course of five years from his hometown to various locations. In early 2016, he started working on a book project for this series.
