I’m a French self-taught photographer, born in 1986. I use almost exclusively a film camera and a 50mm lens, a way for me to concentrate on the moment instead of on the photography gear, which doesn’t really interest me. It’s been 7 years now that I take pictures, but I had to wait my year long travel around the world to realize how it was important to me, and how it allows me to express my sensitivity in a natural way.

About ‘La beauté ne suffit pas’:

I spent last August in New Zealand with my girlfriend; traveling, living, and sleeping in a camper van. One morning, we saw that the olive oil had freeze during the night: temperature apparently came down at -10° Celsius when we were sleeping. That’s the moment when we really realized that it was winter time there.

Those pictures are a visual diary documenting the month we spent there, alone on the road and surrounded by extraordinary landscapes, with a camper van as our only protection against cold, rain and wind.
