This is an unpublished project premiered today on C41 Magazine.

Pietro Bucciarelli was born in 1998. He lives in a small town in the Marche: Serra San Quirico. He began to approach the world of photography in 2014. After attending 2 years in a scientific school and 4 years in an art high school, he tries to enter the academic world, but he leaves immediately after a year.

From the very beginning, he has combined digital and analog photography. In the last period, he has started experimenting with different sources of light forced especially flash.

Mine is visual research aimed at finding aesthetic “answers” full of meanings at times explicit and at times the result of lies, fables, and dreams.

About ‘Acqua nera’ – words by Pietro Bucciarelli:

Timeless narrative, scratches the stone, black water, hands the legs the shadows the missing persons. There remain hands on stones, unrevealed figures, men and women who run and celebrate around fires now extinguished. Memory of a recounted dream “I dreamed of a river with black water, it was night and there was only the light of the moon that hit us. People came out of the water, naked, and came on me as if to greet me as if to bow I don’t remember well, but the water was boiling.” Games for children splashing and diving the river and rivers. Sizzle, mosquitoes, love and other things of the river, when I was a child and when I am like that. Scratches the stone a little shortened rite, for the first time you don’t need your name. Black water of a kiss on the forehead and I don’t know how to go around.
