Correios Cultural Centre in Rio de Janeiro presents the collective exhibition Ouro Líquido through May 11th in collaboration with Korb Gallery and curated by Juliana Curvellano.

Ouro Líquido goes beyond the mere contemplation of water in its physical form, entering the cultural, symbolic, economic, social, environmental, and spiritual fields. Italian artists like Fabian Albertini, Matteo Beltrami, Matteo Messori, and Bruna Rotunno were invited to offer their perception and perspective on the topic of water, in dialogue with works by Brazilian artists Gabriela Maciel, Sofia Seda, and Pirilimpos do Planeta, together with British artist Carmen Einfinger and German artist Miriam Loellmann.

Each work in the exhibition is a unique contribution to a deeper and more holistic understanding of water as a treasure to be protected and preserved. Transiting between realism and utopia, between figuration and abstraction, the works reveal unique perspectives that invite viewers to reflect on their own relationship with water, evoking deep emotions and memories.
