Luca Zambelli was born in 1993 and is an Italian musician and photographer. He currently resides in Milan.

He studied photography at IUAV University in Venice and after that, he began working as a fashion and documentary photographer.
He shoots mainly with an analog 35 mm compact camera. His photography is focused on the little details and manifestations of the unseen, on the mysteries lying beyond the surfaces of everyday life. His approach at the visual language is spontaneous, contrasting the one used in the music world which is rather intimate and deep.

About ‘Battleship’ – words by Luca Zambelli:

What’s the point in certain things and what’s the point in trying to understand something? A gesture, a smile, a sunset. The memories of the things we don’t fully understand last longer than the ones we comprehend. That’s why, sometimes, I just want to stare at the world with no will to explain what I am seeing. I want my memories to live forever, with or without me. On a summer trip to Liguria, I took some images of things I saw and didn’t want to explain.
