“Love You, y yo mas a ti isn’t just a photo series; it’s a journey into our deepest selves,” states the author Marte Diaz. Each image goes beyond mere visuals, capturing moments that echo her experiences in the Amazon forest. As she ventured through the Amazon, her connection grew stronger, transcending the physical world. The river, wild and unbound, mirrored our raw bond. Born from her Amazon exploration, this project fuses her professions as creative director and photographer with the presence of my friend, Ana Lendl, who not only posed for the shooting but also co-directed the project. Their paths converged in Peru amidst personal upheavals, devoid of romantic entanglements, seeking new horizons.
In Love You, y yo mas a ti, the photographer aimed to distill her journey’s essence – vulnerability, resilience, and the profound love that flourished in the wilderness. Each photo speaks to the enduring strength of friendship and the transformative power of love. Their story resonates beyond frames, a symphony of shared experiences and an unbreakable bond. This is one of the first stories and a key part of Diaz’s photo book project in collaboration with her agency TTAG WORLD. It reflects the journey Diaz and Lendl, known as MAPU, took through Latin America.
