The fifth and best edition of Terraforma, the international music and sustainability festival that for three days a year since 2014 revives the wood of Villa Arconati-FAR on the outskirts of Milan, ended on Sunday 1st July.
In the last weekend of June over 8,000 people, mostly between 25 and 29 years old, gathered in the green spaces of the Villa to breathe the atmosphere of a unique festival in Italy and among the most appreciated in Europe that proposed the performance of 22 artists for 41 hours of music. The Terraforma campsite, illuminated entirely by solar-powered lamps, has welcomed around 1,500 people this year, 25% more than last year. 58% of participants (+ 18% compared to 2017) did not speak Italian, consolidating Terraforma’s highly international appeal.Foreign guests have come from every corner of the planet!
The founder and artistic director, Ruggero Pietromarchi, declared: “The fifth edition of Terraforma represented the achievement of an unprecedented maturity, consecrating it as unique in Europe. A context that has been able to stimulate the artists invited to experience the best during their performances.”
