Guy Bolongaro is a social worker and photographer living in London.

He loves making images in both personal and professional contexts but photography is predominantly a therapy for him, something like a daily creative practice that encourages his to expand the various field of awareness, taking notice of his environment, being more sensitive to the possibilities of the present moment and move towards a healthier engagement. He uses the camera in order to frame instants of daily practice in a way that isn’t too cerebral or head-based, being able to simply respond and build new patterns and mental habits.

More than being photography part of his daily practice, it is also extremely aesthetical in the way he is able to put everyday objects and routine moments under a very bright light that fights against those dark thoughts and anxieties life can be filled with.
