Rediscovering the act of construction: drawing, cutting and gluing in a world where images are ready to be consumed in a short time.

Creating Enzo Mari’s Autoprogettazione (“self-design”) models is therefore a matter of order. Each part has a specific dimension. Everything must be in proportion or it won’t work. Chaos is gradually eliminated, the scraps of the process.

Scale teaches us that the small still contains everything, in harmony and proportion.

And this scale can be deceived if all references are removed.
