About ‘Perpetual Hotel’ – words by Doğan Arslanoğlu:

Perpetual Hotel is an investigation into the limits of photographic storytelling. Spanning several countries, the aim is to decouple the image from its author and to exchange the depiction of place for an ambiguity that reveals only the structure of a story without specifying what that story is. The use of an unreliable narrator turns the images into fragmented pieces of information, like evidence, that can be pieced together in a multitude of ways.
