In the summer of 2023, Alexis Vasilikos worked as a receptionist in a boutique hotel in Leros. One of his duties was to make bouquets. He compiled a diaristic visual research on time passing and traces of its passage.
Alexis Vasilikos is an Athens-based visual artist who works primarily with photography. His work explores a wide range of interests that revolve around the dynamic relationships of the mystical experience with everyday life and technology with spirituality. He studied photography in Athens, at Focus and A.k.t.o., and attended the Art History course of D.A.M.S. in Bologna. Since 2012 he has been co-editing Phases Magazine, an online fine art photography magazine, and he is represented by CAN Christina Androulidaki Gallery. His work has been exhibited worldwide and is part of public and private collections.
