After a brief stint of youth in Rhode Island, David Behar spent most of his life in South Florida. He then headed for Los Angeles to sell hamburgers after a layover in Austin. For a little over the past decade, he’s been shooting the beach and not much else.
About ‘Fog’:
Every once in a while the air in LA gets too hot for its own good and tussles with the cool ocean. This feud creates a thick fog only along the beaches. Beachgoers arrive confused because of a couple hundred feet west it’s bright and sunny. A few decide to stick around and make the best of the gloom. This short series documents those few people.
