About ‘Hot as Hell in Midtown’:
During the dog says of summer, the molten core of New York City can be found in Midtown Manhattan: a blisteringly-hot concrete valley running along a scalding asphalt path called Broadway. It’s an iconic area, a crossroads where vast swaths of humankind can collide, and a location that defines America to so many of its visitors. However, when the thermometer reaches its top, there’s a unique kind of delirium that sets in as heat echoes off of the towering skyscrapers above.
New York is a diverse town where it often feels like we’re all alone, together. But misery loves company- and when it’s hot as hell in Midtown, our anguish at least provides us all with something in common.
