When we read both names in the same sentence, we knew the result would be outstanding. We tried to take a closer look from the beginning, but we had to wait until the Salone del Mobile to feel the fresh surfaces of marble and metal.
The collaboration between Bloc and NM3 stems from the aesthetic synthesis shared by the two Italian companies: a series of rigorous, elegant and schematic furniture that emphasizes the hybrid and multiple aspects of materiality, technology and form. The result is a series of steel + marble furniture presented at Milan Design Week ’22. The collection consists of 3 series of metal and marble furniture.
We caught up with Sara Ferron Cima, Nicolò Ornaghi, Francesco Zorzi and Delfino Sisto Legnani at the Ordet space in Milan, where pieces from the collection are on display. We asked Marcello Maranzan, a young Italian photographer, to tell us about the protagonists and the collaboration.
