Asaf Einy is a photographer and visual Artist based in Tel-Aviv, Israel. He has a B.F.A in art and design and has showcased his work in galleries and museums in Israel, being also published several times in Europe. He is known for his portraits and fashion photographs, cultivating an interest for reportage as well.

Most of his work focuses on challenging and refining the conception of contemporary masculinity, an interest that allows him to select precise scenes of daily life in which he happens to be surrounded by.

Asaf visual language and choices are genuine, while his approach is defined by clarity of intentions; manners that tackle the relationships between the photographic subject and how it sees itself and its representation and eventually in a new context.

About ‘Acre’ – words by Asaf Einy:

“Acre” is a photo series shot in Acre, a port city in northwest Israel, on the Mediterranean coast. It was shot in its well-preserved old city walls. Its a city were both Arabs and Jewish people live. The model is a local boy and so are the other faces we found while shooting there. It was first published on KingKong Garcon magazine in 2019.
