About ‘All lovely things will have an ending’:
‘All lovely things will have an ending’ is a documentation of banal spaces in Savannah (GA), a city known for its beautiful historic district.
These representations of stillness and silence manifest an interest in the mythology of the south, and attempt to problematize the identity of the city by questioning the unbridled forces of urban renewal.
The title is taken from a popular poem by Conrad Aiken (1889-1973), a native of Savannah.
