About Narrioch – words by Amit Elkayam:

Narrioch is the first name which was given to the region of Coney Island, NY.

It means “a corner of land” and “land without shadows”. In reference to its ever sunlit south-facing beaches. This land has been visited, photographed, iconized, overused, overcrowded, and exaggerated throughout time. This story is a subconscious exploration of that small gap near a boardwalk, between water and land. A creation of life that exists only there.
