About ‘Dreamers never wake’:
Alon Shastel is an Israeli photographer who photographs Israeli youth with an intimate and softly sensual look. Capture subjects during moments of intimacy. The main theme on which his research is based is that of adolescence, a period that has inspired so many artists and continues to do so; sometimes the imagery that Alon proposes is certainly different from the others. The management of light tends to enhance the sensuality and the expressiveness of the subjects, so as to make us enter the scene and in their deepest intimacy. The film allowed him to establish a closer connection with the nostalgic visions of his early memories in Israel.
