Adam Whyte’s body of work Lucid explores the photographer’s reintroduction to the urban landscapes of New York, after living in provincial Washington State. Cityscapes of chaos, disorder, and transience are reframed and molded into luminous and visceral compositions— stark observational images strung together into surreal, ambiguous narratives.
