Marco De Ieso is a 21 years old boy from that specific area in Perugia where guys spend every day of their life shooting with films and analog machines of various kinds always looking for details to identify themselves. Living his life surrounded by vintage objects of the 60s, he feels like he was born during that time. His passion for photography arises 7 years ago when for the first time he put his eye in the viewfinder of an old non-working analog camera that his dad gave him. It was a Pentax P30. Even if he was a young boy, he soon became aware that the world seen through that object was completely different from the one we usually conceive and that only capturing what excites him could serve to shape his vision.

He thinks that photography, in general, is a precise moment in which a series of emotions take place, agreeing with Henri Cartier Bresson when he said that: “Photography is immediate, drawing a meditation”. From this sentence he managed to create his own idea, thinking about a shot as always having to transmit a clear message and through it tell about life and moods.

Recently, he deeply focused on fashion photography to have the occasion to explore and compare himself with other people, and in order to lover down a bit of his shyness, facing important dialogues and collaborations with fashion agencies that made him grow a lot artistically and technically.

About ‘Naples’ – words by Marco De Ieso:

Every year, the very first days of the new year I go on holiday to relax a little. This year, I decided to visit Naples, a city which is so dear due to my relatives. A fact which is known is that Naples, in order to be understood, needs to be lived. I left on the first day of January and alone with my reflex I documented the beginning of 2020, highlighting all the details of Naples, starting from the breathtaking landscapes and panoramas and following with the outskirts with its issues going on. In this photographic selection mainly shot at sunset, we can see the warm sunlight that enlights the scenes enhancing them through fantastic tones, despite being middle winter.  Naples is a city that stimulates emotions.
