Luca Ellena says about himself:
“I am Luca, 19 years old from Switzerland. I work at a school for disabled children and take photographs after work, during lunch break or on my various trips. I use both film and digital cameras, depending on which project I am working on.”
About ‘Nature, grain and simplicity’:
The following photos are part of my city series, a long-term project trying to capture daily life in towns spread all over the world. My actual goal is to visit at least two cities per year.
During spring 2016, I created a photographic documentation about the city of Budapest and its people: The series shows candid moments of people who are strolling through the streets, getting some on a sunny day or simply riding a city train.
The Hungarian capital is known for its (amazing) ruin pubs who are attracting many young people. But whenever the night is over and the first rays of sunshine hit the streets, the party people are gone and you can see locals commuting to their working places. That was also the time I got up and made quite a few pictures.
