His first book published by Steidl in 2009 commemorating his years of award-winning photography.

Luchford has collaborated with the British painter Jenny Saville whose visceral paintings of large human nudes are reflected in Luchford’s photographic exploration of the artist’s body. Their photographs have been exhibited in art galleries and cultural centers including the ICA, London, Pace MacGill, New York, and Gagosian, Los Angeles. Their collaborative process is also the subject of a documentary film aired in 1998. In 2000, Luchford completed a feature length film Here to Where, which was nominated for the Michael Powell Award at the Edinburgh Festival in 2001.
