Byzance is a creative studio created by Laïs Duruy and Claire le Bouteiller. Constantly abreast of new experiences, Byzance can easily switch from art direction to identity design, from editorial design to illustration.
About ‘Nocturnal Archives’:
Nocturnal Archives is a fantasy reconstruction of archives influenced by the aesthetics of spatial photography. The series alternates between pictures of non-identifiables residues and surprising luminous phenomena, taking place in a desolate landscape.
The bare use of the photographic tool – no editing has been made – allows to play with our perception of reality.
